How Can We Sell At This Price?

We sell Factory Direct so you pay a price close to what a local dealer would pay at wholesale cost for a comparably equipped bike. Thus, you get a better equipped eBike for hundreds less than retail. The only thing you have to do is a bit of tuning and assembly. Also, we only make eBikes when they are sold which allows us to not carry inventory which adds to what we would have to charge our customers. All saves are passed along to you!

Why are some of the bikes in the video different from the bikes you’re offering now?

The bikes in our video are fully functional prototypes that are either ready for sale now or will be in the near future. These were used for testing. Production bikes will be as shown in our promotional material.

What is the top speed of the E-Bike?

By law the top speed is restricted to 20 MPH without pedaling.

How do you control the motor?

The E-Bikes are equipped with both a throttle and pedal assist mode. If you want to cruise without pedaling the twist throttle can be used or if you enjoy pedaling and want to feel more like you are riding a regular bike, you can use the pedal sensor by entering one of the levels of pedal assist.

What is pedal assist and how does it work?

Pedal assist uses a sensor built into the drivetrain which registers when you are pedaling automatically turns the electric motor on to provide assistance when pedaling. Start pedaling and the sensor tells the motor to turn on. You can adjust the level of assistance with the LCD screen from 1-3/1- 6 (lowest amount of assistance) based on the model (highest amount of assistance) to match your desired speed.

How far can the E-Bike go on a single charge?

There are many variables that effect exactly how far you will be able to travel on a single charge like wind, hills, payload, and speed. On average you can go 25 miles per charge in flat commute/urban environments with a 180lb rider with no peddling and 15-20 miles in hilly off-road trail riding conditions with no pedaling. When you pedal you extend your range. The more pedaling you do, the less power it will consume, and the longer you will be able to travel!

How many times can the battery be re-charged?

We use top of the line high-quality lithium-ion battery cells which provide approximately 600 full charge cycles before a replacement is needed.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

On average the battery takes 3 hours to charge with the included 2 Amp charger, but that time is cut in half on shorter trips where you only partially discharge the battery pack.

Do I have to pedal?

No, you don’t need to pedal at all. The throttle is always 0-100% Power depending on how much you twist! You can choose to use the throttle only model and never have to pedal. Of course this will greatly reduce the distance you can travel before needing to re-charge the bike.

Is it street legal?

Electric bikes are considered bicycles and can be used in the same way as a pedal only bicycle in most locations, however there are a multitude of localities with restrictions so users must check with local law enforcement to be sure they are riding within the law.
